Privacy Policy
We care deeply about your privacy. CryptoLive provides cryptocurrency market information for educational purposes only and does not provide financial advice. No account or sign-in is required.
We (the developer) do not collect personal data from the app. Third-party services that power certain features may process limited device data under their own policies and your choices.
1) Scope
This policy applies to the CryptoLive iOS/iPadOS app and pages on cryptolive.blog.
2) Information We Do Not Collect
- No name, email, phone number, identifiers, or precise location
- No wallet private keys, seed phrases, or exchange logins
- No selling of data or building advertising profiles
- Local-only storage: your watchlist, price alerts, notes, and settings are stored on your device
3) Features & Data Handling (Current Version)
- Notifications (APNs + Local): Price alerts are delivered via Apple Push Notification service (APNs). Apple provides a device token used only to deliver notifications. You can disable notifications any time in iOS Settings → Notifications → CryptoLive.
- Advertising & consent: CryptoLive shows banner ads using Google AdMob. Consent is managed via Google UMP where required, and Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) on iOS. If you allow tracking in ATT, AdMob may use IDFA for personalized ads; if you decline, ads are non-personalized and measurement uses SKAdNetwork. Manage choices in Settings → Privacy Options and in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- What AdMob may receive: device identifiers (e.g., IDFA if you allow tracking), IP address (which can infer approximate location), app interaction and basic device info (e.g., model, OS version) to show and measure ads. We don’t control AdMob’s systems. See Google Privacy Policy.
- Purchases: CryptoLive Pro offers auto-renewable subscriptions (Monthly, 3-month, 6-month, Yearly) to unlock Pro features. Purchases and billing are handled by Apple via the App Store. We do not receive your payment details.
- Terms of Use (EULA): CryptoLive uses Apple’s Standard EULA. View it here: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/.
- Watched Wallets (view-only): CryptoLive lets you watch any public blockchain address. Addresses you add are stored on your device. When an address is displayed, the address and the chain name are sent to our own server, which uses them only to look up data that is already public on that blockchain — balances, tokens, NFTs and transactions — from the providers listed in section 4. Each provider receives the address in order to answer the query, under its own policy. The address and the public data returned are cached on our server for up to one hour to stay within provider rate limits, then deleted automatically. We do not require an account, do not build a profile, do not link addresses to you or to your IP address, and never share addresses with advertising or analytics providers. An address may belong to anyone; watching one does not imply you own it. To stop sending an address, remove it in the app.
- No keys, ever: Watched Wallets is read-only. CryptoLive never creates, imports, requests or stores private keys, seed phrases or recovery phrases, and cannot sign, send or authorise any transaction.
- Diagnostics: We do not collect analytics. If you opt in at the system level, Apple may share aggregate crash/usage data under Apple’s policies.
4) Third-Party Services & Data Sources
- CoinGecko API — market data is requested directly from your device. CoinGecko Privacy Policy.
- TradingView Chart Widget (via WebView) — used for the Pro Chart; TradingView may use standard web technologies under its own policies. TradingView Privacy Policy.
- Blockchain data providers (Watched Wallets only) — a public address you choose to watch is sent to the provider that serves its chain, so it can return that chain's public data: Alchemy (Ethereum, Base, Polygon, Arbitrum, OP Mainnet, BNB Chain, Avalanche), Helius (Solana), Blockfrost and Koios (Cardano), mempool.space (Bitcoin), litecoinspace (Litecoin), BlockCypher (Dogecoin), TronGrid (TRON), TonAPI (TON), public XRP Ledger nodes (XRP), Magic Eden (NFT floor prices) and Coinbase (historical prices for transaction history). Each processes the address under its own privacy policy.
5) Data Retention
We do not maintain user accounts or server-side profiles. Preferences, alerts and the list of addresses you watch are stored on your device and are removed when you delete the app or reset its data.
The only data our server holds is a short-lived cache of public blockchain responses for addresses being viewed. Cached entries expire automatically within one hour and are not associated with any user, device or IP address.
6) Your Choices
- Manage ad privacy in the app: Settings → Privacy Options.
- Manage tracking: iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Manage notifications: iOS Settings → Notifications → CryptoLive.
7) Security
We minimize data processing and use HTTPS for network requests.
8) Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy; the latest version is always on this page, with the date shown above.
